Quality Control – Jurassic 5
This is one of my favourite albums. More complete than the J5LP, but with the same bounce and flavour as their debut. I also love the artwork. However, the front cover doesn’t really appeal. I’ll explain.
The best piece of the artwork is the tree stump. On the back, you get a close up of the top, with a turntable arm attached, as if J5 are rocking straight from nature.
But that’s not even the best bit. Under the CD, there is a top-down view, which frankly, looks amazing. Unfortunately, I seem to have lost almost all of my CDs in house moves (aargh) so can’t get a picture for you. However, the title track’s single vinyl version is pretty awesome too.
